Site Technician
Advanced Physical Therapy, is currently taking applications for the position of Site Technician. There is one full time and one part time position available in Anchorage, Alaska. All candidates must be professional, dependable and highly motivated to contribute in this service position. Position: Site Technician
Hours: Full time, 40 hours / week, unpaid lunch (required), full benefits after 90 day probationary period. OR Part time, 15-20 hours / week
Summary: Persons employed as a Site Tech are providing ancillary service to physical therapists and exercise physiologist. Site technicians also perform organizational, maintenance and infrastructure tasks to support smooth operation. Work includes and is not limited to managing linen supply, treatment room changes, equipment management, supplies management, and general organization of tools. Light maintenance and surface cleaning is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: All applicants must speak the English language fluently, have clear communication skills, and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Excellent time management skills and an ability to understand the changing pace of the schedule is required. All applicants require experience using hand tools dollys, rolling carts, and ladders. All applicants must demonstrate the ability to lift 40 lbs from floor to waist ht and return to floor, and a 20lb lift and carry, from the floor, for 40 feet and return to the floor. Other physical demands include frequent walking, standing and occasional lifting.
Work Environment: 95% of Site Tech work is performed inside an air conditioned / heated building, in a medical suite with 9000 square feet of floor space. Education Required: All applicants must have a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
Compensation begins at $9.00 / hr with wage increases and bonuses based on performance.
