The newsletter began as a marketing tool to distribute to doctors and patients. The intention was to deliver information about Advanced Physical Therapy, treatment strategies, human interest stories, the clinic “in the community” and articles pertaining to wellness. Quickly, with the first issue we established a unique voice and readability that reflected the clinic philosophy and vision. The document was designed for mailing and included a “first glance” message on the side opposite the address that contained an inspirational quote and a corresponding original photograph.
It took a year to write the second newsletter due to changing priorities and formatting. The second issue is the transitional issue from our first to our third. We were changing graphic elements, expanded the format, and even experimented with a new name “the COMUNIQUE” but too many people didn’t understand the name! All issues are now downloadable as a PDF. You will notice issues from winter “07 and winter “08. We are currently working on new quarterly issues simultaneously for “08: Spring which should be ready by April 1, the Summer issue by August 1, and the next winter issue Decenber 1, 08.
