Success.
The journey we take in life and our ability to get where we are going is more important than the “ thing” we are waiting to receive, which is typically an honor measured by some ideal outside of us. Ultimately success is about achieving optimal health in our lives by, from within us. The photograph depicts a woman jumping for joy and it clearly shows a physical expression of success, freedom to celebrate and the ability to let go of any burden.

Strength. This advertisement features a generalized idea about the concept of not being strong anymore due to an injury, which is a common complaint. Once people understand the mechanism of injury and the complexity of recovery, both mentally spiritually and physically, it is only then our team of professionals can “get to work” on the healing process. Our real strength is our ability to weather any adversity that comes our way. I was out in Prince William Sound and came upon this island with one tree on it. The tree had to be strong to live as long as it had on such a small piece of land, as well as endure all kinds of weather. It left a lasting impression.

Recognition. We recognize the people we treat in the context of what is happening in their lives. The most common need for a patient is to be listened to, a different interpretation of recognition. To a performer, recognition is that moment on the stage when they are seen for the image and emotion they are trying to convey. It is not so different that we all want to be seen and heard. When we are given the time to do so, you begin to know us and we begin to know you. The picture of light through the tree was a moment when I was changing the bulbs in the ceiling fixture and I saw the pattern of light through the leaves in a different way

Performance. This advertisement is the most direct correlation of the term with meaning to both a dancer and an individuals’s ability to do their job, enjoy recreational activity or tolerate daily activities. It is all performance. We need to be ready when our bodies are called upon to perform. Advanced Physical Therapy can help not just after an injury but with musculoskeletal screening for a sport and personal wellness program. Being proactive about our health can keep us at a higher level of potential, so when we are suddenly asked to perform, our body is ready.

Giving. This advertisement initiates a series about the “culture of giving” campaign for Alaska Dance Theatre. The idea of this advertisement came from an interest in how a non-profit organization can raise funds while at the same time raise awareness about the health benefits from giving. The advertisement may also reference (or get people to think about) what Advanced Physical Therapy gives to the community it serves and to the individual patients it treats: service beyond what is expected in a way that raises the bar for other physical therapy companies to follow. If you want more information about the thought process and ways to include giving more in your life please check the link below. It is an incredible article about what you get from giving. It’s worth a look.

What you get from giving.
