Join Shelby Lee Harris at Advanced Physical Therapy for a unique, fun, and educational event to learn about the how to improve pelvic health and overall wellness! We will be in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where we can easily laugh and learn, and answer all the questions you’ve always wanted to ask - from the bedroom to the bathroom.

This class will cover pelvic floor anatomy and function, and tips on proper activation and alignment will be given. Also, if you are a mother or planning to be one, there will be a free Diastasis Recti screening! Learn how to safely activate your core and look for abdominal separation during exercise so you can modify what you need to appropriately. Light refreshments will be provided… come and enjoy ladies night!

Introducing Doctor Talks! Modeled like "Ranger Talks" in our favorite National Parks, this is an opportunity for community members to drop in and hear local experts talk about relevant topics.

First up, Dr. Zuzana Rogers with Advanced Physical Therapy. She'll be covering Overuse, Injuries and Stress Factures for active people.

Saturday, at the Downtown store - 800 H St Anchorage, Alaska 99501

  • 11 AM or 2 PM for a 45 minute presentation/Q&A.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Functional Fitness Class - Wasilla

This is a 6 week functional fitness class for the pregnant or postpartum mom looking to strengthen and rehab her core and pelvic floor as well as her whole body. Each week we will progress with a new movement by creating a proper strategy to manage pressure and working on proper form and mechanics of that movement. 

Postpartum moms need to be at least 6-8 weeks postpartum with a clearance from your OBGYN to start an exercise program

Sign ups are required as we only have 10 spots available.
