Commitment to Education

Education is an important part in both the prevention as well as the recovery from an injury. The caregivers at advanced physical therapy are dedicated to the education of our patients, to our clients in the wellness program, and to the community in general.

All of our caregivers are enthusiastic educators, and are happy to talk about what they do. Of the nearly 500 fellowship-trained physical therapists in the United States, two of them practice with us. One of these professionals, Valerie Phelps, is a lead instructor for the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine - United States.

Valerie Phelps also speaks nationally and internationally. What this means for the Alaskan community is that you have dedicated therapists who are passionate about what they do and willing to share with any community, small or large, near or far.

We are available to present lectures of workshops on a variety of topics to groups of any size, from office staff gatherings to organizations and athletic teams.

Our dedication to service in our community extends beyond the walls of each clinic. We are community volunteers, coaches, and active particicpants in the lives of Alaskans. Visit our Facebook page to see where we've been, and where we are going.
